We are members the UK Special Interest Group for Psychologists Working in Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Practice, which is affiliated to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastics Surgeons (BAAPS).

About Emily
Emily is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in supporting individuals to manage the psychological impact of physical health conditions and appearance-related concerns. She completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London and across a number of London hospitals. Emily spent seven years working with the Clinical Psychology service embedded in the department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Royal Free Hospital, London. She recently left the NHS to take up the position of School Psychologist with The Berkhamsted Schools Group.
About Charlotte
Charlotte is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, with over 15 years experience working within a variety of NHS mental health settings. She specialises in the treatment of eating disorders and body image problems, and uses a range of evidence based therapeutic approaches in her practice. Charlotte has also worked in weight management and bariatric services, to provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment for people considering or undergoing weight loss surgery. More recently she led an NHS psychological service to support individuals undergoing combined orthodontic and facial surgery, and has a deep understanding of how appearance concerns can impact upon self esteem, well being and quality of life.
